Financial Breakdown & Sliding Scale Model
Philosophy
At Azure Montessori, we are dedicated to providing diverse and inclusive services that support every child’s learning journey, regardless of socioeconomic background. Our sliding scale model ensures that families from all financial profiles can access our resources and services, while also sustaining and growing our offerings. We invite families to contribute according to their means, fostering a community where everyone’s participation helps us continue to serve and support your educational goals.
Sliding Scale Model
Our sliding scale model is designed to adjust service fees based on household income and size, ensuring that each family contributes a fair and manageable amount. This model considers the federal poverty line for Broward County, Florida, to establish three service fee tiers.
How to Apply for Sliding Scale
- Complete Financial Assessment:
- Families must complete a detailed financial assessment form, including documentation of household income and size.
- Scholarship Application:
- Families can apply for the Step Up For Students state scholarship, which may cover a significant portion of course costs. We accept FES-UA & FTC-PEP.
- Review and Adjustment:
- Based on the financial assessment and any awarded scholarships, Azure Montessori will adjust the curriculum rate according to the sliding scale model.
- Ongoing Support:
- We offer ongoing financial consultations and support for families to ensure they can manage curriculum costs effectively.
Income Tiers
To provide a clearer understanding of our sliding scale model, we have created a chart that identifies three tiers based on household income and size. The tiers are based on a percentage of the federal poverty line, adjusted for household size.
